These are a small part of the songs I like…

The first song is called, 暖暖 in English mean (the) warm which is sung by 梁静茹

The Italic part is where I love mist in the song. Want to know it in Englsih? Well you need to pay me for the translation!!! ;-)

Youth For Change

Dear Friends,

How have you been so far? It has been about three months now after our trip to Rattanak Kiri where we spent 3nights and 4days together. I hope you still remember well how it was, the view, the land, people, the charitable activities we had done together and, last but not least, how some of you got drunk at night.

Yet, the purpose of this writing is not to give you the review of the event but to remind you of what we have promised to the indigenous kids who studied at Tong Kropu primary school where Sopheap is the Project Coordinator. We said we would send back the reading books and some other study materials upon your merit.

To this promise, I would like to call for your contribution again. The reading books shall be from grade one to six, plus it would be very kind of you to donate them the short stories books whether in English or Khmer or any other school materials which you think are appropriate for primary school kids.

Where:       UC campus, Information or Receptionist desk (only)

When:         Monday—Thursday and Saturday from 2-5pm;

                                OR on Sunday from 8am-5pm

                                Not Friday!!!

How:                Please find Ms. Tek Molika for donation and kindly fill in the Donation list.

The donation is due until the end of September since Sopheap will be in Phnom Penh again at this time and will be back to Rattanak Kiri in early October when the kids start their new school year.

If you want to see the changes, start by being one of the changer.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ( Confucius)

Pagna

Malaysia wants a single Visa for Asians…

DO you thing a single visa for Asian in direction to boom up the tourism industry is a good idea?

Think about Cambodia Tourism Industry if a single Visa succeed! Singapore got about 10 millions tourists each year–they have no Angkor; yet Cambodia ???

Scecurity in the region is much a big more concern than Visa…

Are Asian countries safe places to tour?

Hi5 & Facebook!

Posted in Uncategorized on August 9, 2007 by pagna

I have been belonged to hi5 since 2005 but, frankly speaking, I had never spent even a single minute to touch it. To me, this kind of network seems wasting my time. Just recently, (maybe I have nothing to do cuz it is the vocation at IFL) I’ve comed up to update and see what is in my hi5.
Oh yea! my friend’s given me a comment on my personality since 2005. He said I am so cheerful and you guys can hardly see me sad for more than a day…YOU KNOW Y? Because whenever a person is sad, more or less he/she may influence another one. I do not like seeing people upsad or depress. I will try my best to cheer you up! YOU can be sad anywhere but no in front of me! Thus the maximum time for me to cry is 55 minutes and I’d spend another 5 minutes to ralax and laugh again. I am not born to have an eternal life… and if I am not lucky enough…..
But, dears, there are time when I cry alone and no one know and so do you all.

Oh, I am also belong to Facebook now. Anyone who belong to it might heard something about the founder of facebook who has been sued for stealing the ideas.

Still, to me, the network won’t make me any new friends or it might happen but as a rare case since I don’t like talking to anonymous; though u know their names, ages, occupations and bla bla, so what? Still feel uneasy to talk to them la!

Here is my hi5 and facebook

Stem cell…

Posted in Uncategorized on August 3, 2007 by pagna

Well, what do you think about cloning? I have learnt about cloning and stem cell at IFL this semester and I was very interesting. I suggest anyone with the interest do more research about it.

Human clonning has been opposed by some whereas some supported and whether you like it or not, it is what the techology brings. Stem cell, primal cells found in all multi-cellular organisms, has always been the controversal issue since that the stem cell research practice is a slippery slope to reproductive cloning and tantamount to the instrumentalization of a human being.

But just now, the South Korean reseacher claimed that they’d produce stem cells through a different process called parthenogenesis.

Wait and see what will happen next…!
