Dear Friends,
How have you been so far? It has been about three months now after our trip to Rattanak Kiri where we spent 3nights and 4days together. I hope you still remember well how it was, the view, the land, people, the charitable activities we had done together and, last but not least, how some of you got drunk at night.
Yet, the purpose of this writing is not to give you the review of the event but to remind you of what we have promised to the indigenous kids who studied at Tong Kropu primary school where Sopheap is the Project Coordinator. We said we would send back the reading books and some other study materials upon your merit.
To this promise, I would like to call for your contribution again. The reading books shall be from grade one to six, plus it would be very kind of you to donate them the short stories books whether in English or Khmer or any other school materials which you think are appropriate for primary school kids.
Where: UC campus, Information or Receptionist desk (only)
When: Monday—Thursday and Saturday from 2-5pm;
OR on Sunday from 8am-5pm
Not Friday!!!
How: Please find Ms. Tek Molika for donation and kindly fill in the Donation list.
The donation is due until the end of September since Sopheap will be in Phnom Penh again at this time and will be back to Rattanak Kiri in early October when the kids start their new school year.
If you want to see the changes, start by being one of the changer.
